PICK ME UP IF I FALL !!!!!!!

Scripture: Galatians 6:1-10

Gal 6:1 King James
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
Gal 6:1 American Standard
Brethren, even if a man be overtaken in any trespass, ye who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

When our brother or sister in Christ falls short of Gods will, or if they sin, or if they are backsliding, or if they are slipping into darkness, if they are struggling with their flesh, if they are loosing faith, if they are questioning their walk, if they are feeling discouraged, if they are battling, those of us who are prayed up and filled with the Holy Spirit are to pick them up.
We are to encourage them, wipe their tears, hug them, love them, pray with them, pray for them, talk to them, remind them of the goodness of Jesus. We are to be their cheerleader, their pep squad, their coach to pep them to get back on track.
You are to be humble and remember a time when you were in that same condition. Has there ever been a time when you struggled with your faith? Where you felt helpless? Where you backslide? Where you played with sin? Where you felt discouraged? When you felt alone? When you questioned your walk? When you got confused? When you felt like you couldn’t continue your walk? Take a moment and remember how it felt to be in these situations. Didn’t you want help? Didn’t someone come and help you?
The fact that you can reflect on these times, and now stand as a restored Christian means someone prayed for you. Someone gave you a hug. Someone loved on you. Someone encouraged you. Someone comforted you. Someone helped to restore you.
In the same strength that someone helped to restore you, you must do the same for someone else.
Gal 6:2 King James
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Here this scripture tells us to bear one another’s burdens. We are to have a like mind of our fellow brother and sister. If our brother or sister is sad, confused, discouraged, heartbroken, we are to feel it too. We are to have compassion for them. The rest of the scripture says “… and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Which is to Love. Love is the law of Christ. So in full context, we are to feel our brothers and sisters pain and show them LOVE. We restore one another through love. The love of Christ.
Gal 6:7-8 King James
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Gal 6:7-8 American Standard
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth unto his own flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth unto the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life.
You reap what you sow. If you restore your fellow brother or sister in Christ, you will also receive the same measure when you need restoration. If you sow good things, you will reap good things. If you sow bad things, you will reap bad things.
Gal 6:9-10 King James
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith
Gal 6:9-10 American Standard
And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us work that which is good toward all men, and especially toward them that are of the household of the faith.

Don’t be too tired to be nice to others. Don’t get tired of sowing good things into life or into other people. Those of you who hold on and continue to do good will reap in due season. Do good to all me. ALL MEN. Do good to both believers and non believers of Christ. We are to ESPECIALLY pick up a fellow brother or sister in Christ. We are of the same body and in order to have an effective body of Christ, all of our body parts, all of our limbs, all of our members must have strength.
