Rejuvenate
A lot has been going on in my life lately. It seems like I’ve been pregnant forever, I’ve switched two jobs, finally got my Bachelor’s Degrees, family ups and downs, health ups and downs, financial setbacks, the birth of my beautiful baby girl and much more. All these things going on in my life kept me busy and preoccupied. Of course I prayed, of course I went to church, but was that enough? Was I doing what was required of me? Was I putting my all into my spiritual walk? Was I focusing on Kingdom business like I was suppose to?
Where am I spiritually?
Well thank God for His patience with me. Although I didn’t backslide into the world, I was NOT putting my all in my spiritual walk. I wasn’t in drive and I wasn’t in park. I was in neutral. I was half stepping and not progressing. Have you ever had a time in your spiritual walk when you were in neutral? Were you ever in a place where you were just standing still spiritually?
Well I am here to encourage you to get up and start moving forward. It’s time to get our Spirit out of neutral and into drive. Let’s pick up the pace and move to a higher level in the Lord. Let’s get REJUVENATED!
“Rejuvenate means to restore to a former state; make fresh or new again “
Let’s get our spirit back to the time when we were on fire for God. Let’s gain a fresh start and move forward in the Lord.
Pray this prayer with me and let’s see where the Lord takes us as we rejuvenate our spirits:
Lord I thank you for being who you are. I thank you for waking me and my family up this morning. I ask you to please forgive me of my sins and my short comings. Lord I have been in a spiritual stand still and it’s time for me to move again. Lord I ask that you help me to move forward in you. Lord I ask that you give me a new spirit. Give me something new in my life that will help kick start my spirit. Lord I am not content in standing still. I desire to progress forward in my spiritual walk. Lord I expect some extraordinary things to happen in my future. I expect my ministry to shoot forward. I expect to get closer to you. I expect to be on a higher level with you. In Jesus name I love you and thank you in advance for the new spiritual things to come. In Jesus name, Thank God Amen!
Alright Women of God! Let’s pick up our bibles, spend more time in prayer and get ready for God to Rejuvenate our stale spirits. Love you all!!
Read Psalms 51 all : A prayer for a cleansing.
Key scripture: Psalm 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
