STEPPING UP YOUR SPIRITUAL GAME: THERE IS MORE THAT IS REQUIRED OF THEE

Shekinah Glory a musical ministry, that has this song called “YES”. Now when I listen to this song it makes me slip into a mode of pure Worship; a meditation of gratitude, pure bliss, peace, freedom, surrounded by the thoughts of my Lord and savor, thankful for the mercy God shows me…..

Now in this song, there is a question that is being presented. The question states, “will your heart and soul say YES?” (If we were in church, some of you would be shouting right now!)

Will your heart and soul say yes? Lets look into the lyrics of the song. Reflect on the verses below:

There is more that I require of thee
Will your heart and soul say yes
Now will your heart and soul say yes
Will your Spirit still say yes
If I told you what I really need
Will your heart and soul say yes
Did you catch that? God is telling us he is requiring more from us. More!!! He wants us to say YES to Him. He wants us to do more than what we have been giving Him. He wants us to be MORE than what we have been showing ourselves to be. He wants us to be more than just a tithe payer, more than just an usher, more than just a minister more than just a organ player, more than just a missionary, more than just a pastor, more than just a singer,
(did I come down your isle yet?)
more than just the finance committee, more than just the Sunday school teacer, more than just the bible study teacher, more than just a deacon, more than just an evangelist, more than just a church bench warmer, more than just the lady who shouts the loudest every Sunday, more than just the minister who hoops and hollers the most more than THIS!!!!!!!!
He wants us to say YES!!!!! He wants us to do all those things stated above, but He doesn’t want you to stop there. He wants you to simply say YES!!!!!
Now if God really told you what He really needs from you, would you do it? Take your time before you answer this question because you’ll miss it…
If God told you WHAT HE REALLY NEED FOR US TO DO WOULD YOU DO IT?!
If He said, I need you to leave your friends so you can better serve me, WOULD YOU SAY YES?!
If He said, I know you have bills to pay but when you get that $100 check I need you to give my tithes $10 and offering $ 5, WOULD YOU SAY YES?!
If He said, stop having sex before marriage and ill bless you, WOULD YOU SAY YES?!
If He said, spend 30 min with me so I can take you higher, WOULD YOU SAY YES?!
If He said, stop going to the club so you can represent Me better, WOULD YOU SAY YES?!
If He said, put that alcohol down, put that weed down so I can give you wisdom and power, WOULD YOU SAY YES?!
If He asked you to do something for Him WOULD YOU SAY YES?!
HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!
Why is it so hard to just say YES?
If we just say Yes and Acknowledge Him, He will direct our pathways for us. God wants us to say YES.
If God asks you to do something for you, He will give you the POWER and the Means to do what He asks of you to do.
Don’t lean on your own understandings when serving God.
We can look at our empty bank accounts, our piles of bills, our broke down car, our eviction notice, our bad relationship, our unemployment.. And wonder, LORD HOW CAN I DO WHAT YOU ASK OF ME WITH ALL THESE CONDITIONS IN MY LIFE?
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Don’t you know that if God asks you to do something for Him, He already prepared the tools for you to use to serve Him? He already set things in order for you to carry out His plan, His Will.
We were predestined to do His will. (Ephesians 1:2-14) We must open up our heart and say YES when He says go. We must open up our hearts and say what He wants us to speak. We must just say YES.
No rebuttal, no questions, no doubt, no worry, no what if’s, no fear, JUST SAY YES!
When we say YES, we are move HIGHER in the spiritual realm
When we say YES, we become spiritually and naturally stronger.
When we say YES, our blessings become bigger.
When we say YES, GOD IS PLEASED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don’t we owe God YES?
He gave us His only son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins on the cross. Jesus died so that We may have life. Sin was repaid with death, and instead our lives being taken, Jesus’ life was laid down on our behalf.
In doing this for us, the LEAST we can do is say YES to Gods Will.
What’s so great about our God is He will give us the means to do what He asks of us. If He said to do something, He will give us the money, the tools, the knowledge to get the job done. God is so awesome.
Remember to just say YES.
Step out on faith and say YES!!
God got you.
Don’t worry about failing.
Don’t worry about How you will get the job done.
Just say Yes God I will do what you ask of me and look to God for help to do what He asks of you.
Its time to say Yes..

I love you all ♥♥♥♥♥

Scriptures to ponder on:
Romans 8:31-32
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Ephesians 1:3-14
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; 9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, [1] and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted [2] in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
