Who's Living Your Life?

Have you ever sat and thought to yourself, "Who is living my life?"
Well if you haven’t, take a sec to think about it.


Ok, so what did you come up with?


Are you living your life according to someone else's opinions?
Are you living your life according to someone else's likes and dislikes?
Are you living your life to please others?
Are you living your life based on someone else's fears and insecurities?


Well this is your day to start living your “OWN” life.
We sometimes have ideas, make plans, have dreams to reach for the stars BUT there is too many times where we don’t live our life because someone else:
... Thinks it’s a bad idea
… don’t think you are qualified to do something
… they themselves wouldn’t dream of doing what you want to do, so they suggest you
don’t do it either.
… they would feel embarrassed if they did what you did so they suggest you not to do it
either
…they are jealous because you have dreams and goals to reach and they themselves don’t have that same ambition
And the list goes on and on and on…
I want you to start living your life today!
Don’t short change yourself because of someone else’s opinions.
Don’t second guess yourself because of someone else’s doubt.
Like I mentioned in one of my past notes, GO FOR IT!!!
Lets put it into a spiritual perspective:
God has the power to make us do what He wants us to do, He has the power to make us think the way He wants us to think. He has the power to make us do what seems pleasing to Him. HOWEVER, He chose not to force himself on us. He loves us so much, He gave us free will.
Now we all know that we should choose to do the Lords will and not our own. But this is the point I am trying to make.
Now if God, the Almighty, chooses not to force Himself upon us, WHY DO WE LET HUMAN BEINGS WHO HAVE NO POWER, RULE OUR THOUGHTS, ACTIONS AND OUR LIFE?
If God doesn’t force us to do things, why do we let others force the way we live our lives?
Do you think the people around you have better understanding, knowledge and insight greater than our God?
Do you feel that you have to consider their every thought, advice and opinion because they have all power?
If you said no to the above questions, START ACTING LIKE IT!!!
You should be the only one living your life.
Allows God’s wisdom to guide you. If we are told to not lean on our OWN understanding, then you shouldn’t lean on SOMEONE ELSES UNDERSTANDING neither.
